Ice Arena Features

- Spectator seating of 850 in rink 1, 250 in rink 2
- On-ice activity can also be viewed from the galleria or Randall Room
- Locker rooms open directly onto the ice

Lessons
Private lessons may be arranged with the professional of your choice.
“Skate With US” Group Lessons for children and adults
Designed by the United States Figure Skating Association and used by ice arenas throughout the country. Geared toward teaching correct technique in the basic elements of skating. Skaters complete the Basic 1 through Basic 6 levels and then choose one area in which to continue. Tot classes are offered for children ages 4 and 5.

Columbine Figure Skating Club
Founded in 1989, the Columbine Figure Skating Club (CFSC) is a member of the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA) and is affiliated with the Mile High Figure Skating Association. Columbine uses Apex facilities.
Public Skating
Public session times may be canceled if there is insufficient interest. Please call 303-403-2598 to confirm. Hours may be adjusted due to special events or holidays. Current schedules can be found in the News and Events.
Adult Drop-In Hockey

Developmental Hockey/Skate and Shoot
Work on skating, stick handling and shooting. Current schedules can be found in the News and Events.
This is not a drop-in hockey game!
Developmental Hockey Guidelines:
- Full equipment required for ages 18 and under.
- Helmets mandatory for 19 and over. Full equipment recommended.
- Coaching area is south of the southernmost blue line or may be determined by Apex staff. Coaches are required to wear helmets.
- Goalies pay the same fee as everyone else.
- Control your shots; you’re responsible for pucks you shoot.
- Pucks are not supplied; bring your own.
- Players must not stand in front of net.
- No goal tending unless you are wearing goaltending equipment.
