Summer activity guides go in the mail April 20

Apex Park and Recreation District summer activity guides will arrive in APRD residents’ mailboxes the week of April 20. You can also pick up a copy of the guide at all facilities any time after that or download a copy from www.apexprd.org.

Online activity registration start time changes

Summer online activity registration starts at 5 am on May 4 for residents, May 11 for non-residents, and all other forms of activity registration start May 6 for residents, May 13 for non-residents. Go to Online Registration »

Registration is underway for the Father’s Day 5K/fun run!

Families, fathers, kids and adults…register online now for the 2nd annual Father’s Day 5K/fun run on Sunday, June 21 at the Apex Center, 13150 W. 72nd Avenue. Go to www.apexprd.org to sign up for this fun and festive Father’s Day event!

Family Thursday Night Series, 7-8:30 pm

Bring a picnic supper, good friends and family and enjoy the music at McIlvoy Park, 5750 Upham St.

July 16 – Papa Juke, Blues
July 30 – The Long Run, Colorado’s Tribute to “The Eagles”

Children’s Friday Morning Series, 9:30 – 10:15 am, North Jeffco Park, 9101 Ralston Road.

July 10 – Eric West, Music for Kids
July 24 – Beth Epley, “Simple as a Giggle,” comedy and stories for young children

The series is made possible by grant funding from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District and to local sponsors Apex Park and Recreation District, Prospect Recreation and Park District, City of Arvada Parks Department, Kaiser Permanente, Arvada Festivals Commission, and Bank of Choice.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in City of Arvada parks. In case of inclement weather, performances move to the Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd.
