Once again, Apex Park and Recreation District presents the free summer concert series, co-sponsored by the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District, Prospect Recreation and Park District, Kaiser Permanente, the Arvada Festivals Commission, Sooper Credit Union, PrideMark Paramedics and the City of Arvada’s Parks Department. Bring a picnic, friends and family, and relax with outdoor music on a beautiful summer evening!

The evening family series is in McIlvoy Park, 5750 Upham St., 7-8:30 p.m. Here’s the lineup:

Tuesday, June 17: Colorado National Guard Band
Thursday, July 3: North 40 - Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame Band of the Year
Thursday, July 17: Groove Society - Award winning jazz and a capella vocal group
Thursday, July 31: The Fables - A tribute to the music of John Lennon and Paul McCartney

The children’s Tuesday morning series is 9:30-10:15 a.m. at Pioneer Pavilion, 9101 Ralston Road:
Tuesday, July 15: Mary Sue & Cari - Interactive music with kids and their parents
Tuesday, July 29: Rosey Rosebud - Magic, humor and acrobatics
