Qualification Requirements: Must have experience working with pottery wheels, slab roller, handling clay, glazes and kiln use. Must be able to lift 25 - 50 lbs. Must have good communication skills. Must be punctual. Must possess a positive attitude. Must be a team player and supportive of Apex Recreation District and its’ decisions.
Job Summary: Open and close Leisure Arts facility during scheduled lab hours. Remain on site for duration of lab time. Track attendance of registered participants. Distribute clay and glaze to enrolled participants. Track usage of said items. Unload kilns as needed per instructor. Learn emergency procedures and be able to carry out tasks as needed. Facilitate clean up after lab time.
